Waiting, Waiting, Waiting...

I am in my 36th week.

There is dilation and effacing and all sorts of random OB-speak going on.

Unlike the days before Missy arrived - and I wanted to spend time doing all these things by myself - now I want to spend them as mother and eldest daughter.

As such, I am insanely jealous that my nanny is outside blowing bubbles with Missy in the early fall sunshine (we still have some sun in the PNW...and it is October!), who is shouting "Bye-bye bubbles. See you next time!," as each one floats over the back fence into the park.

Working from home is pure bliss. And pure torture sometimes.

OH Ms Planner...

That's the funny thing about blog-time -- you turn around and it's ALMOST TIME...I'd lost track -- how incredibly exciting and yet bittersweet as you reflect here...I was just thinking of you -- reading old posts and realizing just how long we've been reading one another - I'm so grateful to have been let into these journeys of yours -- I hope to follow this next one too!

I am thinking of you!

Love,

Pam

Pure bliss and pure torture, indeed. Actually, I go
"back" to work Monday and literally have no idea how I'm going to pull it off. Yet, I'm so grateful to not have toleave them all day--to be able to sneak down to put them down for nap, etc.

In any case, enjoy this Missy time--it's a very special time--and all the best for an uneventful labor and delivery.
